I am working with a system consisting of end device → gateway → ChirpStack. The gateway is configured to use the UDP Packet Forwarder to transmit data to ChirpStack v4.14.0 hosted in the cloud.
My gateway is a DIY RAK7391, and I manually installed the firmware using RAK PiOS 0.9.3. All configurations were performed using rakpios-cli. I deployed the UDP Packet Forwarder via the deploy service function and configured the cellular APN through manage network. Initially, the gateway successfully transmits data to ChirpStack; however, after approximately 24 hours of operation, the gateway stops forwarding data. Once I reboot the device, the data transmission resumes normally, but the issue continues to recur every 24 hours.
I would like to ask:
Is this behavior caused by a known issue in the firmware or the RAK7391 hardware?
Could the problem be related to the cellular connection, and do I need to adjust any additional parameters in the cellular configuration files?
Any guidance or recommended troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
