Chirpstack Gateway OS on Sensecap M2 Gateway. "image that does not fit into the flash memory"

Viewed 9

Hello,

I've been trying to install the Chirpstack Gateway OS on a Sensecap M2 Gateway through the LuCi interface. But when the Chirpstack firmware is loaded, it gives the following message:

It appears that you are trying to flash an image that does not fit into the flash memory, please verify the image file!

And doesn't allow me to continue with the firmware installation.

I've already tried to install the OpenWRT firmware from Seeed first and then the Chirpstack, but it's still the same issue.

Any ideas on what the issue is?

Edit
So it turns out that installing the OpenWRT firmware through the LuCi interface didn't actually install any new firmware. After following this guide from Koen Vervloesem I managed to install the OpenWRT firmware, and after that I was allowed to install the Chirpstack Firmware. However, after it finished installing. The gateway is stuck on Boot with the LED on the gateway flashing green. Even when installing the Chirpstack OS through the serial interface, it still won't boot up fully.
